Each word list contains 300 age-appropriate words, complete with languages, definitions, and meaningful sentences to help the speller.

• 25 Bonus words
• An alphabetical listing of 300 words
• A brief sentence that helps convey the meaning of each word
  
• A definition and the part of speech for each word that matches its usage in the sentence
• Pronunciations for the most difficult words (and there are a lot of those in the Bonus Section!)
• The languages of origin for almost every word

Bonus Words 

The bonus words are available only in the Tournament Editions. There are 25 for the Grade 3-4 list, 25 for the Grade 5-6 list and 25 more for the Grade 7-8 list when you choose the Tournament Edition.
